Hey-oo! Just sliding back into my journal to let everyone know that I've been writing some new fics lately, based in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie universe. I watched the first movie for the first time a few months ago, and am absolutely hooked on those big, expressive green eyes and adorable personality. Watching the second movie just upped my ~squeee~ factor by adding Knuckles and Tails. So, I have to write about these little darlings. I'm currently posting at both Archive of our Own and Fanfiction.net, under the name Mama Qwerty. I've got a number of Sonic fics up, and am working on a few more at the moment. I try to post once a week. As always, comments are very welcome, as I love to hear/read what people think of my little brain droppings. *cough*it encourages me to write more*cough* Anyway, thought I'd update anyone who enjoys my writings. Okay, so my MLP pattern isn't quite ready, but it's getting close and I'm really excited about how it's coming out. I've got a great muzzle, a nicely shaped body, and a good heel in the back legs. I just have a few tweaks to iron out and then I'll get some good photos and get the pattern up. I've created a shop on Etsy to sell my crochet patterns, and have one up already! It's a little spaceship robot, based on the mini-boss Dubior from Wii's "Kirby's Return to Dreamland". Okay, not really. But I've been working up some crochet ponies from various patterns for a while now. For the most part they're pretty nice, but the fact that they're not more show-accurate really bothers my almost anal attention to detail. The heads aren't as large as they should be, and the bodies aren't proportioned well. Overall, they're great for a generic pony/horse shape, but if you're going for MLP accuracy, they don't really cut the mustard. So I'm working up my own pattern. I want a round, large head, with a well-defined muzzle. A properly shaped body "bean". Legs that bend nicely, while still supporting the body. And mane and ta
